Over Christmas Mosaic Middle East was able to bless hundreds of Yazidi girls with much needed warm winter coats. This was only made possible through the generous donations of supporters like you.
530 adolescent Internally Displaced Yazidi girls received a coat in time for Christmas (Internally Displaced People or IDP is the description used for refugees when still within their country). These girls have been in a refugee camp in northern Iraq for 6 years after fleeing the Genocide perpetrated against the Yazidis by ISIS. It was a delight to see the joy on their faces this Christmas.
See for yourself in the film below. Hear from Dr Khanzad Ahmed, Secretary General High Council of Women's Affairs of the Kurdistan Regional Government who helped with the distribution and praised the work of Mosaic Middle East.
